Liz Evan

Elizabeth Evan holds a Juris Doctor from Belmont University, where she graduated cum laude. Among other awards, Liz received the outstanding performance awards in insurance law, tort law, appellate practice, and legal ethics. She served as an article editor for the school’s Law Review as well.

Liz has been involved in church since childhood, served abroad with missionaries, and is a graduate of Ouachita Baptist University. She has helped churches to spearhead reform and engage survivor care, having substantial experience engaging survivor communities. Liz has consulted with multiple pastors, lay leaders, and clergy abuse survivors who advocate for the criminalization of clergy sexual abuse in their home states, having successfully spearheaded such a statute in Tennessee.
